Viewing Album:  June/July 2024 CP 2816 "Final Spike" steam train trip!

Album Info:My friend "Mazon" and I did our own trip at the end of June and beginning of July to catch CP 2816 and the return "Final Spike" steam train heading back to Canada from Mexico! Since "Mazon" did not see CP 2816 when I went to MN/WI/IL with "Railfan" Gary in May 2024, he wanted to make it up to me! This is because he travelled by Amtrak to Wisconsin to see his dad instead of going with us, seeing his dad and CP 2816! Those photos in album titled “CP 2816 'Final Spike' steam train trip!” He made it up to me! He got CP 2816 with me and I got to catch the "Final Spike" steam tour on two separate trips! Going south in May and Returning in July 2024! YES!!!! I was astounded to see a Hudson Bay Raiway SD50 in full HBRY paint and numbers!!!! Great one! My first time ever photographing one of these! It was being prepped to move to NRE Paducah, Kentucky! The first RRHMA public event after opening to the public! NRE still owns the building and uses part of it and leases some to RRHMA! In a couple years NRE will vacate! Description:  When "Mazon" was still sleeping at our first Airbnb (of 3), I walked close to the Centennial bridge to hopefully catch a CPKC freight before we ventured to Silvis, IL for the Railroading Heritage of Midwest America "Walk Amongst the Giants" shop tour event!!!! I was on this bridge waiting for almopst two hours and no trains on CPKC! There was, however, an Iowa Interstate east! (Canon AE-1 Program 35mm camera, Fuji C200 print film)

In primer paint prepping to be restored to true Santa Fe "WEarbonnet" calors! Later painted in Oct. I did not see the results of the paint yet!
